Another year comes to a close and we had quite a trip this 2016. I went to so many fun places on my own and we also had some great family adventures. Cape Cod, Great Wolf Lodge and many more. It was a great year in that respect. Eva has been doing well in school and also in plays and in dance. She loves dance and works really hard with everything. Andrew has been coming along with Karate and even earned his yellow belt. I hope that he continues with that for a long time to come. He also loves school and has been said to be the friendliest child in the class according to the other parents. He does love hugging his pals. Allison is working in First Grade again and having a good year. Her students love her so much.

Today also marks the last day of a little experiment that I started back on January 1. I said that I would take a video every day for a year. I enjoyed it very much and so I decided that I would continue for another year and beyond. I am also going to start a second set of videos on my second channel called Big Damn Kid. On that Channel I will be posting my video reviews of Transformers comic books and probably toys, too. You can see more in the video below.

Our New Year’s Eve celebration consisted of an appetizer dinner, some Anki Overdrive races and many Netflix countdowns. As part of the Netflix StreamTeam this has been a great year and so many cool things have happened including a trip to California to meet the cast and creators of Voltron Legendary Defender. I can’t wait to see what this year brings. But before that celebrate the New Year with these countdowns. My favorite was Trollhunters.

This year, the most famous 10 seconds of the year are back on Netflix with 10 new countdowns based on some of your kids’ favorite shows: Word Party, Puffin Rock, Luna Petunia, Beat Bugs, All Hail King Julien, Skylanders Academy, DreamWorks Trollhunters, Project Mc2, Fuller House and Chasing Cameron.

Parents, after you put the kids to bed print out one of these Netflix New Year’s Eve Door Hangers, fill it out with the number of shows the kids can watch and then head to bed. When the kids get up the kids can watch these while you catch a few more Zzz’s:
