Eva and I received download codes for three new Ansel & Clair adventures. This time the Virtoosian pair are back to learn all about dinosaurs from three different time periods: Cretaceous, Triassic and Jurassic. I have been a big fan of the Ansel & Clair series since the first app, Ansel & Clair’s Adventures in Africa. These apps bring kids and parents face to face with some amazing dinosaurs through animation, information, photos and fun puzzles. Here is a preview video of the Ansel & Clair Cretaceous Dinosaurs which was the only app out of the three that we were able to play because both the Jurassic and Triassic apps require iPad 2 or higher to run. I guess it is time for me to upgrade my iPad so I can thoroughly review future apps.
The Ansel & Clair Cretaceous Dinosaurs app was a fun one to play. You start by visiting a Dinosaur dig site and talk with a Paleontologist. Then you go and dig for fossils. Then you put the bones back together so that you can put the fossil into Marley’s computer and travel back in time to the Cretaceous period to explore, learn about and photograph dinosaurs. With fun animation and excellent information delivered in a unique way this app is a big hit in our house. I look forward to sharing this with Andrew when he gets older and begins enjoying the iPad as well.
The Ansel & Clair Cretaceous Dinosaurs app is only $1.99 which is a big value for the amount of information and entertainment that you get from it. Ansel & Clair are engaging characters sure to captivate your kids.
Even though I was unable to demo the Triassic and Jurassic apps I’d like to show you the Preview videos of each of those as well. The basic format of each app is the same but the content of each is different and specialized to the specific time period.
Here is the Ansel and Clair Jurassic Dinosaur App preview.
And also Ansel & Clair Triassic Dinosaurs App preview.
I hope to obtain a new iPad so I can enjoy these two additional Ansel and Clair apps with my kids.
Disclosure: As stated above I received download codes for each of these apps to try out and review. As always opinions are 100% my own.
