The movie MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1, 2015. I personally have already seen the movie which I’ve been blogging about. I was able to meet most of the cast and I had a great time. I’m loving all of the movie tie-ins that I have been seeing from so many different companies. I went to Walmart and picked up some MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron toys, food and drinks. There is even Avengers cereal from Kelloggs. I got a ton of great stuff. There are a ton of great MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron toys on display at Walmart. The ones that I went to had really nice displays and so many toys to choose from. I was looking for toys for me so I found some things to display at home like Funko Pop figures and some to display at work like the 2.5 inch figures.
While at Walmart and at home I used the Super Heroes Assemble app. This app was fun to unlock cool features while in the store and also at home. Below I’m going to show you the things I found at the store and also how to use the new app which can be downloaded at the Walmart MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron website.
Using the MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron app.
The app is really easy to use. You can download either the iOS or Android version right off the website linked above. Just look to the right side of the screen right below Iron Man’s repulsor beam on his palm. You can’t miss it. Once you download the app you will come to the main screen of the app. It looks like this below.
As you can see there are many things to do with the app. You can Discover or Unlock special features. This can be done by taping the Discover icon and then you can tap on the icons of different heroes and villains. Each one will ask you to scan something specific to unlock features of the app. Many of the features can be unlocked by scanning the image on the Walmart MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron site. There is an image of a lock on the page that says “Unlock more epic content.” When you click that a series of images can be found that can be scanned with the app.
One thing that you can unlock is the Photo Opp feature. This lets you take photos with the character from MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron. You scan various signs all over Walmart for special photo opps. I was able to unlock a few on my computer but I assume this would be something that would work much better in the store.
Another option in the app is to Suit Up like MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron. You can put on the Hulkbuster armor like Andrew did above or maybe borrow Hawkeye’s bow and arrows, Black Widow’s Batons and much more. We had fun with the kids using that part of the app.
Maybe you want more information about MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron. The app also has tons of video including behind the scenes features, trailers, character profiles and much more. It is a one stop shop for everything about MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Using this app will put you way ahead of the game when the movie is released on May 1, 2015. You’ll know about all the characters, their powers and much more. The only thing I couldn’t unlock was the 360 section because I was unable to find a box of the Kelloggs Fruit snacks on their own and you have to scan that box to unlock the Hulkbuster Testing Facility, which is a 360 experience with the Hulkbuster armor and putting it through its paces. I will have to venture back to the store to find it and unlock it for more fun, there are plenty of places all over the store that you can scan for different experiences with the app. Below you can see the things I found when I went shopping.
Like I sad, there was a huge display of MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron toys. I found some fun ones there.
I found a Hawkeye Funko Pop figure and a 2.5 inch Captain America figure. I love collecting Funk Pop figs and am trying to get all of MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron figures before I receive the special Edition Hulkbuster one that I ordered. The 2.5 inch figures make for fun display characters on my desk at work.
The chips aisle is where you can find all those special edition Doritos packages with images of MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron characters one then. Iron Man can be found on original Nacho, Captain America on Cool Ranch, Black Widow is on a Jacked Buffalo Ranch bag, Thor is on Spicy Nacho and The Hulk can be found on special Jacked 3D Jalapeno Pepper Jack flavor. The fun thing about those is that if you collect 3 of each of them and enter the codes at the Doritos website you can find prizes and special bonuses. I’ve been trying to find all of the bags.
I found another Funko Pop figure, some Dr. Pepper with special edition Iron Man cans and also all those Doritos bags.
Cheez-Its are also in on MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron action with crackers with special MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron designs on them. The kids love these ones.
Those Iron Man special cans. There are other characters as well in other specially marked packages of Dr. Pepper. Hulk and Ultron are on 16oz cans. I’m going to try and find all the rest of the MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron cans from Dr. Pepper.
I found a special MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron snack pack with Cheez-Its, Kelloggs Fruit Snacks and Rice Krispies Treats. Each one has special MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron packaging. My son loves the fruit snacks.
If you want to start with a heroic day in your cereal bowl then there is the MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron cereal from Kelloggs.
One last photo of my haul where I also got a special MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron multi pack snack pack of Lays chips including Doritos and more. If I kept looking I would have found clothing, coloring books and so much more. MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron have landed and they are everywhere.
Woah! That’s a lot of loot! I love that the different products unlock other characters and fun things in the app! It sounds like a lot of fun. I just had my teen boy download it onto his phone so he can play around with it. #client
Summer,
I may have gone a little above my allotted money for this shop. I can’t resist the Funko Pops. I bought the whole Avengers set.
