Back by popular demand is the yearly Photo-A-Day calendar. I wasn’t sure if I was going to do one but I received quite a few requests to make one. Last year I raised money for the Machinski Family by selling my 2008 Photo-A-Day calendars. This year I am raising money for The Relay for Life. Allison is a team captain and both of us will be participating along with Eva.
I ran a little contest to help me choose the 12 best photos for the calendar. I received a lot of great suggestions and I took many of them. I also picked a few that I really liked. I created the calendar at lulu.com again and it is easy for you to order. Here are the photos that make up the calendar.
So, who won a copy of the calendar?
Congratulations to Anna of Beth & Cory’s Mom

Annas last blog post..My Dad’s a Blogger
Hey now that’s pretty cool!
Funnily enough I didn’t choose any vertical laid photos, because I thought it would only be for horizontal photos.
I’m glad to see a new calendar for 2009, I bought the 2008 one, and enjoyed it very much.
I ordered a copy of the 2009 one, and I also took the liberty of stealing the ducky photo and used it to make a BlogAd for the calendar, which is running on the three blogs of mine that have these sidebar ads.
Looking forward to 2009!
Christines last blog post..Cold and icky and rainy, oh my!
Anna,
Thanks very much, I really appreciate all the input everyone gave to me on this. Also for the encouragement to do it. That Eva one is awesome, it had to make it.
Chica,
When I edit my photo-a-day image I end up getting the image to where I want it then the last thing I do is crop. I save the image for the web and then I uncrop and save the original. I took the one vertical one and used a horizontal image for the calendar. I’m pretty excited about how it came out.
Christine,
Thank you so much for being the very first person to purchase a 2009 calendar and thanks for promoting it on your blog. I really appreciate that.
All images are absolutely mind blowing.your blog is very well designed.
You chose correct images for new year calender. Your blog is awesome.
Great selections! I had so many favorites, I would need a 365-photo calendar. I love the ones you picked though!
Thanks Dina,
Now I have to sell them. I’m hopping to raise a pretty penny for Cancer research and care for Cancer survivors and their families.
