Andrew has a milk sensitivity and so he doesn’t get to have ice cream. It upsets his stomach and so we don’t give it to him. I couldn’t refuse him this time. We were at a party and they had an ice cream truck. Andrew was so excited that there was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ice cream bar and I had to let him have it. So far, so good.
We were at a pool party thrown by the mom of one of Eva’s classmates. Andrew and Eva had so much fun swimming and jumping into the pool. Andrew also had a great time playing on a large jungle gym at the house. He had so much fun that he didn’t want to go home. Lots of tears. He was also very overtired. A couple weeks more and we’ll be on a schedule.
We did our back to school shopping tonight at Target and then took the kids to the new Red Robin at Patriot place. The previous building was torn down to make way for another hotel. The enw building is closest to overlooking the main gates of the stadium. We had a nice meal and the kids had fun. The restaurant now has these chalkboards that you can take to your table and play games or use to draw. The kids enjoy Tic Tac Toe and having it on the chalkboard was nice because they could play over and over again.
Back to school is right around the corner and even though it felt like last minute shopping we are ahead of the game. For now.
