A brand new app has been added to the app store. I received a download code to check out the new Care Bears Count Down to Christmas Advent Calendar App. Opinions are 100% my own. This new app will start allowing kids to open new activities each day on December 1st. You can download the $2.99 app right now and be ready when the count down begins. This interactive calendar has a new surprise every day culminating in a full length holiday video that gets unlocked on Christmas Day.
The kids have been watching Care Bears shows on Netflix lately and they really seem to be enjoying them. I think that they are going to enjoy this app as well. They love counting down to christmas and looking forward to new activities each day is so much fun. They can’t play yet but there is one thing I found on the app that will tide them over till December 1st. It is a snowflake maker and you can see my attempt at a snowflake below.
As you can probably imagine, I am so excited to hear that a Skylanders Character will be part of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. In my mind if a character gets made into a Macy’s Balloon then that character and franchise has become the pinnacle of pop culture. So many iconic characters are in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. I remember watching the whole thing from start to finish on Thanksgiving Day in the past. MY mom would be making the dinner and to keep us kids occupied and out of her hair we’d watch the parade. I still watch the parade a bit with the kids and look forward to seeing many of my favorite balloons. I can’t wait to see Eruptor join those ranks. If you can’t wait for Thursday’s broadcast at 9:00am on NBC to see Eruptor then you are in luck. Here is a preview video of the balloon and how it was designed.
