People have often asked me how I can take photos every single day. Do I ever miss the deadline? Do I ever run out of things to photograph? The answer to those questions is no. I also never get bored with this either. But sometimes I need to change things up a bit.
Some days however I don’t find something all that interesting to photograph so I occasionally and actually rarely use some of the filters of PhotoShop Elements to make things a little more interesting. So today I made a funky thing from a photo of one of Allison’s ornament. The ornament spun and spun as I tried to take a shot of it with one hand using the macro setting using also the Hi ISO. So it was shot after shot just to get it in focus. Then I used a couple of filters to add a little bit to it. I know that some people don’t like these abstract photos but sometimes they are fun.
What do you think?
I like it. And it gives me some ideas as to how to take a cat pic a day for at least a year.
Andy Warhol cats, anyone?

Christine,
I’m happy that you are doing a daily photo project and specifically of your cats or cats in general. Good for you. Andy Warhol cats would be great.
I like it. I feel like I’m looking at an enlarged snowflake on a beautiful day. 🙂

Kevin,
Very cooll, I hadn’t looked at it that way.
It’s interesting. I need to try this with some photos.

Deborah,
Playing with the filters in PhotoShop Elements is a fun endeavor, I hope you enjoy what you create.
I like this a lot…at first I thought it was a Christmas Card or something…you tricked me! ha! I’m very impressed though…and I’m serious you should start your own greeting card line or something!
Mo,
We’ll see about the greeting cards line, maybe a line of inappropriate cards or something. LOL
