Today was Andrew’s first ever Christmas Program at Little Blessings. I was able to attend and see the hard work that the kids put into the program. They sang songs, recited poems and did a little dancing. They even decorated a felt tree and had a birthday cake for Jesus. The kids also made adorable gifts for their parents. I had Andrew open it up because all the other kids were opening theirs, but I recorded it for Allison to see.

After the Christmas program I took Andrew over to Bass Pro Shops so that we could see Santa and also do an activity for the afternoon. We got there and looked at the fish and then got in line to see Santa. Andrew was pretty well behaved while we waited to see Santa. Andrew was good for Santa and he had that little impish smile happening. After seeing Santa we went back around and did some coloring for a while. Then we went upstairs to Uncle Buck’s for some hot dogs and a pretzel.

When we headed home Andrew fell asleep almost immediately. Our field trip was successful.
