Today I used those fabled “Dad Reflexes”. Dad Reflexes are those split second moments where dads save kids from certain peril. We were at Play Group and on the playground where I was able to save Andrew at the last moment from a face full of mulch at high speed. Andrew was sitting on top of the structure above. I was standing near him telling him that he needed to get down because it was unsafe. He then teetered for a moment then I saw his hands flail a bit. He pitched forward and his feet landed on the pink tube and then his whole body started to somersault forward and face first towards the mulch that lines the ground of the play area. I managed to snag him around the waist about an inch from the ground. Let’s just say that my stress level and adrenaline level was pretty high.

I need a beer.

Luckily for me, Netflix had me covered. Well, they did not send me any actual beer but they sent me a very special beer tasting placemat and some sweet Pilsner glasses. These glasses are for Netflix shows Daredevil, House of Cards, Narcos and Peaky Blinders. I had never heard about Peaky Blinders before but it sounds interesting. In today’s vlog I go through all of the pairings and they are excellent, at least for the shows I know. I’m intrigued by both Black IPA and Peaky Blinders. I’ll have to try both some time when I get a chance. I may have to try my own Netflix Sneak.
