Yesterday was my 2000th Photo-A-Day photo. It came and went without any fanfare. I thought of doing an epic photo like the one that I did for my 1,000th Photo-A-Day photo. Then I went on vacation. Vacation was awesome because I put aside all the trappings of Social Media (minus a few tweets and Facebook posts through the phone).
Now I am back and there is a bunch of stuff that needs to get done. I have some really great products to set up at the house like the GoFlex TV. I’m going to set that up this weekend so that we can show our vacation photos.
There is also some posts that I’ve been asked to write for both the XShot and Kodak PlaySport. I’m looking forward to getting those done, A video needs to be made first. I also took a SecuraTrac with us on vacation and need to review that too. Some good stuff coming and also some changes. Here is the biggest change.
Silent Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday and Sunday I will post a photo as part of my Photo-A-Day project but I will not be writing anything to go with them. I’ve come to the realization that spending all week working and then all weekend working is not working for my life. So I’m going to try very hard to detach form the umbilical of the Internet and do more stuff with the family around the house like actually get some of our vacation scrapbooks completed. I think that will be a nice family project to do. I might even spend some time coloring. Maybe it is time to do my use every color in your box of crayons project. That will help inspire me I think.
I might even print some of my photos and actually put up photos in the house. Speaking of house we are going to start looking in earnest for a house. That will certainly take up much of our time.

Good idea Drew. Weekends are for the family.
Deb,
They certainly are. I am trying harder to remember that and take care of the home things first.
Congratulations on #2000. That’s quite an accomplishment. Good luck with the house hunting.
Dad,
Thank you. And thanks for the luck on the house hunting. This will be interesting.
