Today is World Turtle Day. And Since the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are turtles then it is so fitting that they should be celebrating today as well. I have a couple of fun things to share with you regarding the upcoming movie, launching June 3rd. In this second Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie we see the Turtles pitted against Shredder and his two new mutants, BeBop and RockSteady. They are a couple of thugs that have been mutated into a giant warthog and Rhino. They aren’t the only ones giving the Turtles a hard time. There is also the evil Krang, a living brain monster from Dimension X.

The Turtles are once again joined my ace reporter, April O’Neil and her cameraman. However, this time they have even more help in the form of vigilante Casey Jones, played by the awesome Stephen Amell of ‘Arrow’. WORLD TURTLE DAY is celebrated around the globe in a variety of ways. This year, we are adding an additional layer to the holiday by partnering with the Ad Council on their “I Am a Witness” campaign for June’s National Safety Month. The Turtles are often viewed as a symbol of courage and doing the right thing, even in the face of adversity, supporting one another for a safer, bully-free world.

Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael return to theaters this summer to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O’Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell). After supervillain Shredder (Brian Tee) escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.
