In my haste to get sounds from my iPod playing in my car as I drove to work each day I overlooked an important option. Rather than buying a fairly inexpensive solution like a Monster iCarPlay Plus Wireless FM Transmitter/Charger for iPod. What I should have done was research more and look into getting a new car stereo that had an auxiliary port so I could connect my iPod directly to the stereo and get much better sound.

Of course this didn’t quite hit me till I looked closely at the Best Buy flier this weekend. I’m not huge into music or car stereos but I looked at them this past weekend in the BB flier and lo and behold there were car stereos that allow you to directly connect an iPod or other MP3 player. This is fantastic. Then I looked at the $50.00 item I purchased and got very mad at myself for not researching this issue more. I could get a new stereo for $99.00 that has a connection for the iPod. Argh! I have to learn to be more patient.
