Yesterday, as you read below, I went out and took many shots and filmed scenes for the NokiaProductions movie with a group of really nice people who were brought together by WOM World / Nokia. This morning I got up early because I couldn’t sleep, the 405 never stops, unless it is rush hour. I had a great view but the hotel needs some soundproofing. Maybe I was just to excited and overtired from the day. Anyway I was up at 5:00PST. I started working on putting together my versions of the movies that we shot yesterday. We didn’t shot a lot of video but rather did many stills that I put together into one video. I used my own stuff because I was having a hard time with jumpcut and I wanted to crop images a specific way to make them more “movie-like”.
I cropped all the photos that I wanted to use and then uploaded them to jumpcut. However I couldn’t see them at all so I tried it again, same deal. In frustration I pieced things together using windows movie maker. This is how that one came out.
With windows movie maker I was able to make images inverted so the two gunslingers for the video looked like they weren’t shot from the exact same spot. Then I made things look like and old film and sepia toned. I added the title in jumpcut when I uploaded the movie there.
After uploading the movie I made in movie maker I saw the images that I had uploaded earlier. So I made a quick movie with those images, added transitions and music and then saved and published that movie.
Next I made a movie out of the movie I had uploaded form Windows movie maker, I added a title and some music and then published that one. I encourage you to go to JumpCut and leave me a comment on the movie and also vote for the one that you like best. I know which one I like best.
Very cool! It sounds like you are enjoying yourself. Very cool about going to the Dave Mathews Band concert. I can see you jiving and groovin’!

Since I’d rather not register to comment, I will say here that I like the sepia one better. Even though the black was nice, it was waaay to quick. Looks like ya’ll havin a blast! 🙂

Hehehe. Had a blast with that one 🙂
Great meeting you.

Karen,
Jiving and Grooving? Me? I think not, but I did enjoy the concert, it was very fun. The band sounded great too.
Allison,
Thanks hon, I had a fun time making them.
Thanks Chica,
The sepia one is better, it wasn’t created in jumpcut. Jumpcut is a difficult little site to use, so many wacky intricacies.
Nick,
It was a fun time but I worry that our work was in vain because I can’t add a thing to the nokiaproductions group.
The NP staff is working to get everyone’s stuff up on NP as soon as possible.

Nick,
That is great, do we try again or will they be uploaded automatically?
