The original Mary Poppins movie is filled with so many memorable songs. I am looking forward to seeing what Mary Poppins Returns has to offer. Will there be a classic like Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious or the somber and touching Feed the Birds. I hope so because these are such wonderful songs that our family has loved especially because of he many times we watched the original with Eva. I had to laugh at this new clip because I really remember the terrible acting of the little kids in the movie which consisted of a lot of open mouths and when Mary Poppins tells Micheal to close his mouth because he is not a codfish it is too funny. That call back form the original makes me quite hopeful that we will have a new family classic with Mary Poppins Returns. Take a look at the clip below.

Fans looking to be among the first to experience the film can attend opening night fan events on December 18 held exclusively at Dolby Cinema at AMC Theatres across the country*. On December 7, the digital album and physical CD of film’s Original Motion Picture Soundtrack are set for release. The soundtrack digital pre-order includes two instant grat tracks, “Trip a Little Light Fantastic” and “The Place Where Lost Things Go,” which are available at all digital retail providers. The producers are John DeLuca, p.g.a., Rob Marshall, p.g.a. and Marc Platt, p.g.a. with Callum McDougall serving as executive producer. The music score is by Marc Shaimanand the film features all new original songs with music by Shaiman and lyrics by Scott Wittman and Shaiman. The film also stars Ben Whishaw as Michael Banks; Emily Mortimer as Jane Banks; Julie Walters as the Banks’ housekeeper Ellen; Pixie Davies, Nathanael Saleh and introducing Joel Dawson as the Banks’ children, with Colin Firth as Fidelity Fiduciary Bank’s William Weatherall Wilkins; and Meryl Streep as Mary’s eccentric cousin, Topsy.
