Today I started my day in Columbus, GA. I demonstrated for an hour and headed to the Atlanta Airport. On the way I stopped at the Chattahoochee Harley-Davidson shop to pick up some pins. They had some nice ones. I saw the sign from the highway and got off the exit. I must have missed part of the directions because I couldn’t find it for the life of me. But eventually I made it to the shop, bought the pins and headed out.
Getting to the Atlanta Airport is not the easiest thing to do. Let me rephrase that, getting to the airport wasn’t difficult, finding a gas station close enough was a challenge. Luckily I had a late afternoon flight and therefore had plenty of time to get to my flight. I got some reading done and watched a few podcasts. Then I got on my flight to Charlotte. That was a quick hop and once I was there I was supposed to have 2 hours before my next flight. That turned into 3 hours. So I had time to recharge my iPod, do some web stuff and take my photo a day of the replica of the Wright Brother’s Plane that is hanging in the airport around the entrance to terminal E.
I also had time to take a few photos for Photo Hunters, and Macro Mondays. I didn’t find anything yet for Lensday but I will.
My flight landed at 10:30 and I made it home just in time to post this before midnight.
Looking at your pictures that you have posted, it seems like you have had such an exciting time. You must have seen so much and experience a lot of culture…what is your most memorable picture so far?
It is so hard to nail it down to the most memorable photo. I have certainly gotten to go many places over the years and I have enjoyed it very much. I have been fortunate to go to many of America;s National Parks and those have been wonderful. Basically every time I step off the beaten path I find something of interest. I have this great shirt from Christopher Williams (The person who inspired Photo-A-Day) that says simply, “Drive Back Roads” that is my motto while on the road and it has served me well. Thanks so much for the comment.
