We received a copy of Squirrels Go Nuts from Smart Games for free to play with and review. Here is our honest opinion.
A challenging single player game arrived at our home at just the right time. Andrew recently lost all privileges with his iPad and as such is being encouraged to spend his time doing other things. Unplugged things. So, when Squirrels Go Nuts arrived at the house I gave it to him to play with. I showed him how to play the game quickly and then handed him the box and told him to have at it.
The game is very straightforward and the rules are simple but the challenges can become more and more complex as you move from basic to expert level. There are 60 challenges. I gave Andrew the toy a couple of days ago and he has gone through the first 40 of them. I do believe that he may have skipped around a bit, but I also believe that he gave many a very good show of it.
Andrew and I talked about the game today in the car. He said that he loved it because it had cute squirrels. I pressed him a bit for anything else and he did say that he liked it because it was challenging. He shared that challenge with his sister and was so proud to show her how well he can solve the puzzles in the game.
