We received a couple of the Inside Out Talking Plush toys from TOMY to play with and Review. Opinions of these toys are 100% our own. The kids love them. They were very big fans of the movie and when I gave them the toys to play with they were so thrilled. I personally thought that Andrew would love the Anger toy, but that is me, not him. He’s a happy kid, not a big angry grump like his dad. So I may end up commandeering this toy for my own self. Joy was the toy that both kids wanted, badly. Joy caused more of the Anger than Anger did on his own. You can see how Andrew felt about not having Joy from the photo above.

However, Andrew is a genuinely happy kid so he didn’t mind playing with Anger. He did constantly ask Eva for Joy, though and Eva was content to keep that one for herself. So when I made them switch, this is what I got…

Yeah, let’s just say that she wasn’t super happy that she couldn’t have Joy for a couple of minutes. I let her have Joy until she got to Dance camp in the morning and then it would be Andrew’s turn to have Joy for himself. He was too sad that Eva was gone for the day that he didn’t hang on to Joy or realize that it was his turn. I guess he needed talking Sadness at that point.

The toys are very nice. They look exactly like their cartoon counterparts. Anger even has flames shooting out of his head that can be tucked in when he isn’t “super” angry. They both have 20 phrases from the movie and sound really good. I am serious about taking Anger, I need him for my desk at work when I get questions from people who fire me up.
