Today we spent the afternoon at the Falmouth Arts Fair. This happens every year the Wednesday after the Fourth of July. The whole Main Street shuts down and gets filled with vendors. By the time we got there it was after noon and there wasn’t a parking spot to be had. We had to park way out by the middle school. It was a bit of a walk but before we parked we noticed that Shelby was behind us on the road so I texted her and we met up at the carousel of light.
Andrew fell asleep in the car and Allison had to carry him to the carousel. When we got there Dylan was awake so we popped Andrew into his seat while Shelby took Dylan and Eva on the Carousel. It took me a few tries before I ended up getting a good photo of them on the carousel. I was using the Galaxy 6 Edge. After a ride on the carousel of light the kids went and played on the playground until andrew woke up. then he wanted his own ride.
Andrew is not quite tall enough to go on the carousel on his own so I went with him. I gave him my cowboy hat to wear while he rode around and around. He was having fun hamming it up for photos.
After the carousel we got some snacks including Kettle corn and some slushes. Then we started walking around the different booths. We made our way to a booth that did letter photography. They found different things in nature or man-made that look like letters. Allison and I picked out the letters to spell out “BENNETTS” for a framed picture to hang in our hallway. Then we’ll start hanging other photos there on the hallway that leads upstairs. We did pretty good, too. I’ll share that once it goes up.
We had a dinner at DJ’s Wings and then home so I could photograph our neighbors before their surprise 50th wedding anniversary party.
