We arrived back at The Cape today and the cousins have been very busy painting rocks. Later in the Summer they are going to set up a table to sell them. They are going to raise money for Tommy’s Place in Falmouth, a house for families with kids with Cancer to use for vacations. The kids have been collecting rocks to paint but they also have some other painting projects going on.

Allison picked up some wooden figures for the kids to paint, A tiger for Kylie and sharks for Andy and Dylan. There were also some canvases that Eva is using to paint more things. She is doing mushrooms.

Andy has been flexing his creative muscles lately. He’s been digging through the recycling and creating all sorts of creatures of his own design. We made a couple of things from empty soda cans and even made a lion from an empty blueberry container. He’s been very creative lately. When I woke up today I see that he has made some caterpillars from an empty egg carton. I don’t know what he’ll make next but it will certainly be cute and creative.
