The series begins to really delve into the past with Will Shane and what sort of secrets he had. We meet characters who have ties to Will Shane. Eli gets some new allies in the Shadow Clan. The Shane gang becomes more of a tighter unit as Eli confides in the team his most precious secret, he reveals that he came from the surface. So much happens in these five episodes to move the overall story along.
In a series with such colorful characters and a rich backstory and character development I am saddened that it has not gotten the love it deserves. The toys were non-existent at Toy Fair this year and what ones that have been released aren’t that good (the slugs are great but the blasters and action figures are weak). I look forward to all of the episodes being released and also for the upcoming movie. I hope that that movie helps jumpstart an interest in the series again. If only Disney XD would play the entire series all the way through I think that more people would get on board. In the meantime you can get the first 20 episodes which span seasons 1 and 2.
