#AdventureFriday Splash Pad

It was a hot one day for #AdventureFriday. I was up with everyone in the morning and then folded a mountain of laundry while Andrew watched some PBS. Around 9 we went to Morin’s and split a Fenway Fable and a Grilled Blueberry muffin. Andrew loves breakfast as much as I do.

With our bellies fueled up we headed over to the Capron Park Zoo because I knew that the Splash Pad was up and running. Well, it seems that there were a bunch of schools that were having outings and they had the same idea. When we got there a huge line welcomed us. We went over to the playground and played for a while so that the line would go down. While we played Andrew made a friend. He’s such a friendly kid. He goes up to anyone and introduces himself. I took Andrew to the Capron Park Zoo today. He needed to have some energy run out of him. There was still a considerable amount of snow on the ground around the Zoo. When we got there one of the zookeepers was over by the River Otters. One of them was standing up right at the observation window. I tried to get Andrew to stand in the window and look at me to look at the River Otter but he wasn’t cooperating at that time. Andrew, not the Otter. But when Andrew was ready to cooperate the River Otter was no longer doing his thing and the zookeeper moved on. I really couldn’t win.
