A New Poster and Trailer for The Finest Hours

New The Finest Hours Poster

I have the newest trailer for the upcoming Disney Movie, The Finest Hours. This is based on a true story of an amazing rescue by the Coast Guard off the coast of Cape Cod. As a lifelong Summer resident of the Cape this is something that I am interested in seeing and also reading the book on which the movie is based. While the trailer only shows a little bit more footage, The first one was longer, more complete in my opinion, if does have some more action. The other trailer was a mini movie and I thought it more powerful overall. I was really moved by that one. This is heart pounding because anything with a rescue at sea can be incredibly dangerous. This rescue had everything stacked against it. I’m looking forward to seeing it in theaters.

Disney Presents – The Finest Hours

Disney's The Finest Hours

I watched the trailer for The Finest Hours the other day and man it was gripping. I have grown up on Cape Cod and so when the trailer was released all the papers had stories about it. I read them and so I know how things turn out but I still want to see how it got done. I also want to read the book that this real life story was based on. I have never been to Chatham to see this boat. I’ve been to Chatham before, certainly but I knew nothing about this incredible story before seeing the trailer. Take a look for yourself.
