In Home Alone little Kevin McCallister has to defend his home from the Wet Bandits. Some pretty hilarious hi-jinks ensue as Kevin uses everything at his disposal to thwart the bad guys. Well, Big G Creative has attempted to capture the action in a Home Alone board game for 2-4 players. They sent us a copy well before their November 4th launch at Target stores. The game is exclusive to Target. Unfortunately , we hadn’t had the time before now to play. I took the game with us on the Thanksgiving holiday on the Cape. Andrew is a big fan of board games and he and I tried it out. The game is for ages 8 and up but Andrew is good at games so even though he just turned 7 he could play.

We set up the game and went over the rules and how to play. It took a little bit to really figure things out but once we did I could see how certain strategies could be applied. Andrew played as Kevin and I as the Wet Bandits. He really wanted to get me with the paint bucket over and over. Unfortunately for him, he hardly ever rolled a paint bucket.
