Connected Camps provided us with a five week Minecraft course for free to check out their programs. Opinions are my own.
This year Andy has become very interested in Minecraft. He loves to build and has a great time doing that. He also loves video games and computer class is his favorite. Coding is another topic that he is interested in learning more about. We signed him up for the Game Design Course in Minecraft: Create Mini-Games Playtest Together. He enjoyed playing with the other student. They got to make a game together and then try it all out. Over the five week course he learned many things including how to deal with players who were better than he was. That was a hard thing for him but he got through it.
the nice thing about connected camps is that they offer many clubs including Roblox, Fortnite, Minecraft, Overwatch and Rocket League. They now have Among Us clubs too. If you are looking for a last minute Christmas gift for kids in your life they are running a special right now. Use promo code ‘CLUB40‘ to get 40% OFF on all club purchases. Must use before 12/26/2020.
The signups for the school are handled through Outschool which is a platform that we have enjoyed using in the past. Eva’s done ASL classes and now Andy has done this Minecraft course. Once your child has signed up for classes they can participate on special weekends and other events. There are holiday themed Minecraft building or gaming events. The kids can play on safe servers with Connected Camps counselors.
There are several themes for the Connected Camps programs. They have Community, Esports, Exploration, Arts and Technology. There are so many options for kids to explore as part of Connected Camps. So if you are looking to give kids an incredible experience for Christmas sign them up for a course through Connected Camps and they will want to come back for more.
