Father’s Day is this Sunday and it has taken me a while to actually get out a list of great things for dads. Well you are lucky because many of the things that I have to share with you are subscription services so that Dad can feel special at least once a month. Each of these things are things that I have and either have sent to me for free or I subscribe to myself. I’ll disclose which ones I get for free.

Loot Crate
I have been receiving LootCrate (for free to review) since they first started and I love them so much. Most of my T-Shirts that I now own have come from LootCrates. Tonight when everyone came home Eva wanted to play with something so I took the build your own lightsaber toy from my latest Cooper & Kid Kit. This new kit is all about Light. I haven’t had time to really dive into it yet but there are some fun activities inside. Once Eva had played with the lightsaber Andrew wanted his turn. The lightsaber building kit is fun. You can switch out lenses to make the light more diffused or focused. You can also choose from 4 different colors. The one thing I wasn’t that impressed with was how easily the color crystals pop right out. They don’t stay in well at all. Sure this isn’t really a playable toy but rather a Science experiment but still. It would have been perfect if it was a bit bigger and if the crystals stayed in place.
