So, do you recall yesterday when I was proud of Andrew for being our Character Switcher when we play Disney Infinity 3.0? I was excited as I looked on while Andrew put out all those toys, those figures so that he could get them ready for everyone to use. Tonight after dinner while I was preparing to leave for work I was saying goodbye to the kids and Allison. The kids usually come and give me one more hug a few times over. Andrew went back and forth from the kitchen to the living room. The kids had been playing Disney Infinity 3.0 before dinner and there were a ton of figures out on the floor.
Andrew came down the hall slowly and I heard him say “Uh Oh”. Eva, always wanting to know what is happening intercepts Andrew and she’s crestfallen. In Andrew’s hands is Darth Vader. He’s been snapped off of the base and his lightsaber has also popped off. Andrew held it up to me and told me that he broke it. He had stepped on the figure. He’s almost four and at that age you don’t look where you step. I’ve seen him plow over all sorts of things rather than pick them up. I have tried and tried and tried to get him to look where he is going and where he is stepping. Frankly, I’m surprised that this hasn’t happened sooner. I received a package from Disney Interactive that had all of the figures that were released today for Disney Infinity 3.0. Opinions as always, are 100% my own. These were new Star Wars figures, power discs and the Rise Against the Empire PlaySet. As you can see by my photo above we have Luke and Leia, Han, Chewy and Vader. There are also some power discs that get you a couple of special vehicles and some costume changes for Luke and Leia. I played with Vader, Han and Chewy because I could do so through the boxes. I did that because I had not yet been able to make an unboxing video. I wanted to see how each character played in the game and I was impressed. I leveled up each character a bit but didn’t actually give them any new powers. I figure I’d do a little something with that in future gameplay videos. Below is my unboxing video of the characters and the playset and power discs. Then below that is the official press release about this wave of characters.
I played for a good couple of hours through the Rise Against the Empire Playset and did every mission on Tatooine that could be done except for leaving Tatooine. I was able to get Han Solo to Level 15 and level up many other characters. I will have to then upgrade their skill trees at a later date when I can record it.
