Jake and the Never Land Pirates is one of the cuter shows to come out of Disney Junior in a while. Eva, who had a hangup about Captain Hook being scary (Thanks Mom for showing her the terrifying 1930 play on a shakey old vcr tape) is totally in love with this series. The show centers around Jake, a young pirate kid, his friends Izzy and Cubby. They have a magical pirate ship named Bucky and a talking parrot named Skully and how they solve pirate problems. In each episode Captain Hook and Smee attempt to steal things from the “puny pirates”. Captain Hook also have a couple of crew members Sharky and Bones. They are not only pirates but provide fun music in the episode. We have a fun time watching this show together. It has made her stop being afraid of pirates. Fruity Frogs on Snack Day

Today was Eva’s day to bring snack into school. I wanted us to bring something special for the class so I did some searches for healthy snacks.
