Eva was all smiles as she drove the Starfish, a boat that we took on a cruise on the Bass River. Bass River Cruises was a nice trip from Rt. 28 to the mouth of the Bass River in Dennis/Yarmouth, MA. We went on the cruise with my Aunt Cindy and my Grandmother and her friend. The kids loved the trip. We got to learn about all the houses on the river and who owned them over time and more. The kids even got to drive the boat. At first Eva was hesitant at driving the boat but she warmed up to it and was all smiles by the end. She got to drive a pretty long time, too.
Andrew also drove and he was so excited to drive. He was moving the wheel all over the place. He asked the captain if he could push buttons and turn the key. The captain kept a tight grip on the wheel and a sharp eye on the buttons. Probably a pretty good idea on his part. Continue reading Captain for a Day→
My Father’s Day gift from Allison and the kids arrived today. They got me a KeySmart. They know me so well and how I like to consolidate things and stay organized. This is a way to organize all my keys so they aren’t jingling and jangling around. You can get extra spacers to add many keys to the KeySmart but luckily I have very few of them so I was able to keep mine relatively small. It was nice to consolidate things. I kept going after that.
I downloaded an app called Key Ring so that I could remove all those little barcode cards from my keys as well. Once I started working with that app I discovered that the program has a list sharing feature. We used to have that with Anylist. The problem with Anylist is that it only works in iOS.
