Enjoying the sunset

Photo-A-Day #3421

We went down to the Cape today to enjoy the last few days of Summer before Eva has to head back to school. It is one of those times that I truly appreciate working a weekend shift. Being able to come down during the week when it isn’t super busy is so much more relaxing. I was so relaxed that I didn’t write any blog posts while I was there and am writing these at a later time.

We headed to the Cape after a nice breakfast at Bliss. Andrew was a machine and polished off a couple of eggs and asked for more. He’s going to eat us out of the house as he gets older. We then drove down and set up for a day at the beach.

Both kids enjoyed spending some time on the water today. They are enjoying he boogie boards very much. Eva is a little fish and loves just being int eh water. She’s not that confident a swimmer but zips around on the boogie board.

We had a nice dinner with my parents. We had our Paul’s Pizza for the Summer. After our meal we took a walk down the beach and I could the kids sitting together looking over towards Martha’s Vineyard.
