Before the Tik Tok shutdown I ordered a book from one of the authors on there. The story is about a NPC (Non-Player Character) who becomes self aware and remembers all the awful things that the heroes have done to them in the game. So then they decide to get their revenge. So far it is an interesting read and I may pick up some other books from this same author. He has a couple of other series that look interesting.
