Back on Christmas my brother-in-law brought me a canister of Garrett Popcorn. He had placed an order for a pink canister but for some reason they sent him a Chicago Bulls one. It doesn’t matter what the canister looked like, it is all about the taste of that great popcorn! But I’m getting close to finishing it, I guess I’m going to have to travel through Chicago soon.
I am now back home and I made it through the security line super quickly. Chicago O’Hare had been having insane lines and so I made sure that my journey to the airport was 4 hours before my flight. The car ride took exactly one hour, that I figured on. Then I was expecting some major lines when I went into the airport. Nope, none. I was through security in less than 5 minutes.
After that I had three hours to wander around the airport. One thing that I did was polish off the bag of Garrett Mix Popcorn that I got from a welcome bag upon arrival at my hotel. Each year at the PBS Annual Meeting there is a great gift bag from the city where we are staying that includes some local flavor. I liked this popcorn so much that I went to the Garrett Popcorn that was in the terminal and got a large bag to bring home. Everyone enjoyed it very much when I returned.
