Review: Illumination’s The Grinch and a Grinchy Prize Pack Giveaway

We recently received a copy of Illumination’s The Grinch on 4K Blu-ray and Digital to watch and review. We also received a prize pack of The Grinch goodies to keep and we’re giving away a Grinchy prize pack! Opinions are our own.

We had a day off earlier last week and so we decided to enjoy an afternoon movie. We had not seen The Grinch before and we were excited to laugh. This was a cute movie with plenty of laughs. We enjoyed Benedict Cumberbatch’s performance as The Grinch. The kids favorite characters were Max and Fred, though. They howled with laughter at the antics of these two silly animals. Max is The Grinch’s dog, of course and Fred is a rather large and round reindeer. I personally found the precocious Cindy Lou Who to be very funny. We all laughed a lot through the whole movie. The movie comes out on February 5 but you can also win a prize pack that includes The Grinch movie on 4K Blu-ray as well as a Grinch beanie, some Grinch Candy hearts with special Grinch sayings. I received a couple of water bottles from Zak Designs. These are for the movie The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. We are going to do a giveaway of these bottles on our show Built from Bricks. We are doing a livestream and will be talking about the water bottles and the movie. Make sure that you come by to enter the contest. We are also going to provide tickets to an early screening of The LEGO Movie 2: the Second Part this coming Tuesday at the Boston Commons AMC Theaters.
