Today was filled with a whole bunch more fun things to do while in LA on the Press Tour. We saw two movies and footage from a third. We met actors and even had a cooking lesson at Le Cordon Bleu.
The highlight of my day was, of course, seeing Guardians of the Galaxy. It was incredible and I cannot wait to see it again. When we were leaving Le Cordon Bleu we went to the ArcLight in Hollywood and there was a the most incredibly huge poster wall with the Guardians of the Galaxy. It blew me away with the sheer size of it.
See that green skinned alien beauty to the left? Well that is the deadly assassin Gamorra from Guardians of the Galaxy. Gamora is played by Zoe Saldana who has a history of playing strong women in science fiction movies. She was Uhura in the new Star Trek movies and Neytiri in Avatar. Her background in dance also helps with all her physical and graceful moves int eh fight scenes.
