The Not So Scary Magical Ohana Day

Sweetums at Walt Disney World
Photo-A-Day #1994

This morning Allison, Eva and I got up and went to a character breakfast at Ohana at the Polynesian. We had a delicious breakfast with Lilo, Stitch, Pluto and Mickey. Eva was most excited about seeing Mickey Mouse. She was a bit nervous at meeting Stitch but she got over that quickly when he came to our table.

After breakfast we spent the morning and early afternoon in the Magic Kingdom gathering autographs for Eva’s autograph book. We continued using the one that we got last year and I once again brought my Polaroid Pogo with me so that each night I could print off photos onto the ZINK sticker paper and put them into Eva’s book sot hat she could see the photos of her and the Disney Characters that she’d met the day before.

We took a break and headed back to the hotel to get ready to go back to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. For some reason we thought that maybe we could get Eva to take a nap or something. Not a chance. Allison got some sleep but Eva just ended up watching a movie on my iPad.

The Not So Scary Halloween party was a lot of fun. We all got dressed up, I was Peter Pan, Eva was Tinkerbell and Allison was Vidia, a fast flying fairy from the new Tinkerbell series of movies. We did Trick or Treating in the Park, went on Goofy’s BarnStormer Roller-Coaster and went in to meet the fairies. As luck would have it both Tinkerbell and Vidia were there to sign autographs.

Eva ended up falling asleep before the fireworks so we got to watch them without her getting too scared.
