Couple of Dad Bloggers on the Mommy Blogger Tour

Today I flew to California for four days and three nights on a Press Tour for some Disney movies and ABC Family Channel shows. I had been asking to be included in the tour for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie and luckily I was picked to attend. I flew out early from Logan airport and had a pretty decent seat on the flight. I watched a couple of movies on my tablet and read a few magazine articles including one on Chris Pratt who plays Peter Quill or Star Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy.

I arrived and met up with some other bloggers, we took a shuttle to our hotel, the Sheraton Universal and had a quick lunch. I was going to try and take a nap but that didn’t happen. I was up and ready to meet the other bloggers. One of my good friends, Chris Lewis from Dad of Divas was also on the trip. We are also imageloggers for Samsung and we spent each morning walking up to the Universal Citywalk and taking photos after getting some Jamba Juice.

Tonight after meeting the other bloggers we went for dinner at the ABC/Walt Disney Studios. We ate in the ABC building and watched three ABC family shows, Chasing Life, Mystery Girls and Young & Hungry. It was a fairly early night and then off to bed. Tomorrow is going to be busy.

I am so excited to announce that I will be attending an amazing trip to California thanks to Disney, Marvel, DreamWorks & ABC Family! Yes, I will be participating in activities for each of those entities. Let me give you the rundown.

I’ll be flying out to California to stay in Los Angeles to stay three nights at the Universal Sheraton Hotel. I’ll be off and running from the moment I land till I step back on the plane to come home only to go right from the airport and back to my day, um I mean night, job and back to reality. However, for four fun filled and busy days I’m leaving reality behind and stepping into the world of movies and television.

I will be screening three movies: Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, DreamWorks’ The Hundred-Foot Journey and Disney’s Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. I’ll also get to see some footage from Disney’s animated movie Big Hero 6. Then it is off to the television side of things where I’ll get to go on a set visit for the new show Mystery Girls starring Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth. There is also something happening with another new show called Young & Hungry but I have no solid details at this time. When something does become solid I will let you know.
