A few days ago I received an email from the marketing team at General Mills. They invited me to come and talk with them about their cereals at Dad 2.0 this week. I told them my favorite cereal (Lucky Charms) and also my shirt size. The other day I received a sweet gift package in the mail and was very excited to find a Lucky Charms T-Shirt, Box of Lucky charms plus a hat and coffee mug for Ballast Point, a restaurant in San Diego where I’ll be meeting with the General Mills folks. This is in preparation for March 7th, National Cereal Day. I love it! I have made National Cereal Day a celebration at work the past couple of years by setting up a Cereal Bar for everyone. I coordinated folks to bring in boxes of cereal as well as milk and other cereal related items like fruits and such. It has been very well received each year. I’ll be doing it again this year, too. And I will certainly be wearing the new Lucky Charms T-Shirt! Thanks General Mills!
Tonight at work we did a National Cereal Day celebration. I grabbed my bowl and Sonic Spork to enjoy a crunchy sweet treat. I try and organize these National Day events. I made sure to bring in some fun cereals for the group to enjoy. I picked up some Superman and Batman cereals as well as the Captain America Civil war cereal and Marvel’s Avengers Age of Ultron cereal. I had all these at the house so that I can use the boxes for fun things. Like tomorrow when the actual National Cereal Day occurs. Then I can use the boxes and have fun on the vlog.
Speaking of the vlog. I made a pretty good one today and even gave some shout outs to some other YouTubers who have been fun and cool to me. The first is Vickie Eisenstein a funny comedian who has some great videos. Check her out at https://www.youtube.com/user/vickie4157. The next shout out is to Kidd Reviews. They also do toy reviews and blind bag unboxings. Check them out at https://www.youtube.com/user/kiddreviews. You can see my whole video below with the shout outs to everyone and the close looks at the Marvel 500 sets for Captain America Civil War. There was a Team Iron Man and a Team Captain America set. These were Walmart Exclusives.
