DreamWorks Animation Tales of Arcadia: 3 Below Teaser Trailer

Aja and Krel

I have to admit, I did not get the concept of DreamWorks Trollhunters when it first came out. Then I watched and episode and I was completely hooked. The story was great, the acting superb and the visuals were amazing. Trollhunters sprang from the mind of Filmmaker Guillermo del Toro. The show ran for three seasons on Netflix. During season two it was announced that Trollhunters was part of something much, much bigger.

Trollhunters was just the beginning. There were many more tales to tell in Arcadia. Tales about aliens, trolls and wizards in fact. Trollhunters would be part of a trilogy that would include two additional shows, 3Below and Wizards. There was even a great conspiracy board video where Eli shows Toby all of the evidence that he has found. That was a fun video to tease this trilogy.

And now the time has finally come to show the world the second part of the trilogy. 3Below is the story of three aliens who have come to Earth. They are on the run from a hostile coup on their home planet. While they attempt to repair their ship they need to blend in with the locals. This short video below teases the overall look of the show and the aliens, Aja (Tatiana Maslany), Krel (Diego Luna) and Vex (Nick Offerman) in both their alien and human forms.

The End is Coming: Final Season of Voltron Confirmed for December 14 on Netflix

Team Voltron

I am definitely not ready for this guys. I have become such a huge Voltron fan because of DreamWorks’ Voltron Legendary Defender. I never got to watch the original series much as a kid and now that I am an adult and there is this amazing show I can’t get enough. I love the toys, the characters and all the fun. A lot of my excitement has to do with a trip to DreamWorks Animation Studios several years ago to meet the creators of the show and some of the voice cast including one of my all time favorites, Josh Keaton. I even got to chat with him over lunch and he was a cool guy.

This past week at New York Comic Con there was a panel where some of the actors, the creators and more were on hand to present a teaser for the 8th and final season. I have the teaser and the full press release below. What I do not have is an episode count. I am hoping that it will be a full 13 episodes and not truncated because I can’t get enough Voltron episodes and for the final season I want them to really tell the complete story that they want to tell. What information I do have I will share with you below.
