Nintendo gave me a free download code so that I could try out the new Booster Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Opinions are my own.

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe — Booster Course Pass is some brand new downloadable content for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. This will includes remastered courses from throughout the Mario Kart series for you and your family to race through on your Nintendo Switch!

there are destinations courses like Paris Promenade and Tokyo Blur from the Mario Kart Tour mobile game or get nostalgic with favorites like N64 Choco Mountain and Wii Coconut Mall from past Mario Kart games.

The Booster Course Pass is available for $24.99 or if you have a paid Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership then it is included. The content will be released in 6 waves – 8 courses in each wave for a total of 48 courses – starting now with this first wave and extending through the end of 2023. The first 8 courses have been released and they are a blast to play. There are two circuits in the first wave, the Golden Dash Cup and the Lucky Cat Cup. Courses are from Tour, 3DS, N64, Wii, DS and GBA. With 40 more tracks to come there is a lot more racing to do!

And if that isn’t enough reason to smile, from now through April 4, adorable Mario Kart-themed Happy Meal toys will be available in all McDonald’s locations in the U.S. I picked up Mario and Luigi the other day at lunch! They are some of the best McDonald’s toys I’ve seen in a while!

Review: Mario Party Superstars from Nintendo

Mario Party Superstars

Nintendo sent me a free download code for Mario Party Superstars for me to play and review. Opinions are my own.

Be the family game night sueprstar in your house when you introduce everyone to the new Mario Party Superstars game for the Nintendo Switch. This game is a series of fun minigames that you can play as you ace around the board to collect as many stars as possible and become the superstar of the game. The thing is that no matter what it is anybody’s game. You could be way out in front and have tons of coins and tons of stars and the next moment the player in last place comes from behind to win it all. I’ve seen it done. I personally cannot find any rhyme or reason to how to win but it is fun trying. I’m very good at all the minigames and end up winning most of them but sometimes that is not enough. I may end up landing on a Bowser spot and he does something nasty to me like takes all my stars. He’s not very nice.

I played this a few times with my son Andy and he did enjoy it. the tough thing it playing with me. I’ve been playing video games ever since my very first Nintendo Entertainment System so I have some years on him. He’s getting better, though. Might give me a run for my money soon. however, skill in these games doesn’t always matter to win the final prize in Mario Party Superstars. Nope, it is anyone’s game as I said before. The game is out now and you can purchase it using our affiliate link to Amazon.com below.

Try your hand at a superstar collection of minigames from throughout the Mario Party series and get ready to make some instant memories with your family this holiday season and beyond! There’s nothing quite like being the last one standing in Bumper Balls, the first team making it out of the darkness in Dungeon Duos, or getting those coveted bonus stars!
