Eva and I got a mess of sticker sets from Peaceable Kingdom. They included some scratch and sniff stickers (remember those, so fun), fairy princess and puppy dog dress up sticker sets and even stickers that you can color. We had so much fun playing with the dress up sets. We first did the fairy princess ones and a couple days later we did the puppy dog ones. We’re going to do the ones that you can color some day soon. Houndsgood, one of the members of my IZEA Insiders Crew has donated items to the Saving Shelter Pets, Inc. Auction and she would like me to help spread the word about this program.
Basically the program saves puppies from high kill shelters where they would be euthanized or die from the stress. They do this by intercepting the puppies and fostering them until they are old enough to go to another shelter. Also they spay and neuter the animals at the homes where the puppies come from to help keep this from happening again.
Some of the items that are up for auction include A diamond circle pendant and also a delicious medley of products from Tastefully Simple, called the Simple Traditions.
We won’t be able to go to Strut Your Mutt this year to help benefit our local animal shelter. We’ll be at Disney. I really wanted to go too because I like taking photos of people and their pets at the walk. I’ll have to give my sister some money so we can enter some of the great raffles that they have at the event.
I am doing my part though, I’m working on a website/blog for the Friends of North Attleboro Animal Shelter. I even worked on the logo for it over and over. The site isn’t ready yet but when it is I’ll let you know.
