Review: Color Cube Sudoku from ThinkFun

Andrew and color cube sudoku

We received Color Cube Sudoku for free from ThinkFun to play with and review. Opinions of the game are 100% our own. I have also included Amazon.com affiliate links so that you can get the game for yourself.

The other day we had a family game day. While we played a bunch of games for the whole family to enjoy there were also some individual games for everyone to enjoy. One of the games was Color Cube Sudoku from ThinkFun. This is a rather challenging game but then again, if games were easy they wouldn’t keep our attention. This game is unlike any others that I have seen from ThinkFun. There are no individual cards that tell you where to place pieces. You pretty much place one of the cubes into one of the nine spaces and from there attempt to arrange the rest of the cubes so that you solve the puzzle. Here is the official description of the game.

Square Enix Montreal releases the GO Trilogy Stories – Episode One: Hitman GO

Hitman Go

I have never played a Hitman or Deus Ex game but I am told they are pretty awesome. There are app forms of these gmaes called Hitman GO, Deus Ex Go and Lara Croft Go. I have played some of the Tomb Raider games on PlayStation and I enjoyed them very much.

Lara Croft Go

Now there is a bundle of these three GO games in App store for only $1.99. Once I get home I’m purchasing them because I love puzzles and these look like they are really well done. You can check out an interesting behind the scenes video which is part 1 of three that talks about Hitman GO.

In this first episode of three, we revisit Square Enix Montreal’s original GO game, Hitman GO, through the eyes of IO Interactive, the studio behind the HITMAN series. Follow the team’s journey as we take you through the stories of Lara Croft GO and Deus Ex GO next, commemorating the legacy and lasting impact of the GO Trilogy as well as teasing what’s to come from the studio. The three games are now bundled on the App Store: http://bit.ly/GOTrilogy
