Now that the weather has gotten even better the kids are playing in the backyard more. They have had me get their scooters back out and they are having a great time tooling all around the back patio. Both of the kids are getting even better with it and their balance is improving. Of course, since they are kids they want to run before they can even crawl so they are doing “tricks” as they scoot around. I’d be happy if they could just go and scoot with one foot in front of the other and balance and steer.

He was a little tentative at first and wasn’t quite understanding his foot placement but I gave him a little instruction and he was off. One of the important things about the Monster Kix scooter is that Tilt-To-Turn feature. toddlers learn to steer by gently titling the way they want to turn. With the two wheels in front the scooter is very stable and the turning radius is wide. Kids are not going to make a sharp turn with this scooter. Giving them better stability means that they are going to stay upright. Continue reading Review: Razor Jr. Monster Kix
