The other day at the New York Comic Con there was a special She-Ra panel and during the panel the new looks for the characters were revealed. They also revealed a new teaser trailer and the date of the next season. I am happy to hear that the season will be 13 episodes and so not a tiny 6 or 7 episode season. I can’t stand when they do that. thirteen is a good amount of episodes. Fans there even got to watch the first episode of the season and then were treated to a panel with executive producer Noelle Stevenson, Aimee Carrero (Adora/She-Ra), A.J. Michalka (Catra), Karen Fukuhara (Glimmer), and Lauren Ash (Scorpia) moderated by TV Guide Features Editor Krutika Mallikarjuna.

She-Ra Poster

The she-Ra themed poster for the season features a whole new look for Glimmer who has become the new queen of Bright Moon and leader of the Rebellion.

The Horde Poster

The Horde poster features Catra as the co-leader of The Horde. She is also sporting a new look.

Season 4 begins with the respective rises of Queen Glimmer as leader of the Rebellion and Catra as co-leader of the Horde. As the Horde makes advances on the Rebellion under the looming threat of Horde Prime’s arrival, the Princess Alliance makes heroic strides but begins to disagree on the best way to defend Etheria. Ultimately, a shocking discovery about Etheria itself causes Adora to reconsider everything she thought she knew.

In a season where relationships and power dynamics are in constant flux, the cast gave a sneak peek inside other pieces of the season including new character designs for Glimmer and Catra, Lauren Ash shared a clip from an episode focused on Scorpia, and Stevenson teased that there’s a special episode called “Boys Night Out” that includes a couple musical numbers.

New York Comic Con fans surprised with new season 4 teaser trailer and posters.

Thanks DreamWorks for the free “She-Ra Yourself Kit” complete with t-shirt, tiara, sword, cape and She-Ra boot socks. Opinions of the show are our own.

We are all geared up in our house for the start of Season 2 of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. This truly was a family show for us. Everyone in the family watched the episodes together and loved them. Andrew loved Bow and Glimmer, Eva She-Ra and Catra, Allison loved Scorpia and I thought Entrapta was so entertainingly weird. Everyone has some laugh out loud moments and we all enjoyed the fun action of the shows. It was such a great update to the classic characters from my youth. I watched every episode when I was younger and enjoyed them, back then. I enjoy the shows even more now because I can share them with the kids.

We are so excited for season 2 to arrive this Friday. Even more excited after we received a special mailer from DreamWorks to “She-Ra Yourself”. This was absolutely perfect for Eva. I had her open the package and then we shot some photos in front of the green screen so that I could make some special images that you can see above and below. But first, check out the season 2 trailer for She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.
