Today was Andrew’s First Birthday Party. His actual birthday is on Thanksgiving day so we are a little early. Friends and family came to celebrate with us. Andrew was looking all dapper in his Argyle sweater vest and fancy shoes. We made sure to cover him up when he ate his dinner and his cake though.
Allison baked him a special “Smash Cake”. I guess that this is the big thing right now. Even the cake that we ordered from BJs could be made into a smaller “Smash Cake” for Andrew. I’m not much for football or the rowdy fans however if a fan is clever and funny and a big lovable lug I’ll let it slide. Such is the case with the Gridiron Bear from GUND. This “Lovable Lug” of a teddy bear is a football fanatic. He is not only a plush teddy bear but he has a bunch of great saying for razzing the offense, defense, booing and getting excited about a play. Each paw has a different button and two or three phrases. And the bear actually moves around and moves his mouth when he talks. He is very animated. A must for the football fan in your life.
