I recently received an advanced copy of Tell to Win by Peter Guber. I quickly read through the book and thoroughly enjoyed it. The book is a very quick read and compelling because it is full of stories. The main point of the book is to explain the importance of telling purposeful stories. Peter gives many examples of stories and how telling your story can help you in business and when you forget about telling your story you forget that connection that can be made between people. Incentive

I’ve been thinking a lot about what drives people to do things in their life. Are they motivated by fame, money, fear… What is the incentive for me to get out of bed at 5:00am each morning and drive an hour to work, get in a 20 – 30 minute workout, work an 8 1/2 day and drive another hour home. It is basically a 12 hour day with about 20-30 minutes of productive time for self. I’m really thinking hard about what incentive there is to do that day in and day out. Continue reading Incentive
