Each year I wish that I could be at San Diego Comic-Con. There are so many properties that I’d like to learn about and some cool exclusive items I wish I could buy. This year is no different. I would love to be able to drop in on the Voltron panel and other fun events around one of my favorite Netflix shows. I’d love to see the panel that is happening with executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos, co-executive producer Lauren Montgomery, Bex Taylor-Klaus (Pidge) and Tyler Labine (Hunk). I’d like to see the first episode of season 3 that will be shown at that panel, too.
Something really fun that is happening is that there will be Hunk’s Food Truck which will be serving Hunk’s Food Goo, which will most likely be some sort of Frozen Yogurt. You can see the full details below.
I am a very lucky Dad. I have two amazing children and a great wife. We spent the morning at Church together. Then I headed home to sleep. I slept for the day and woke up at 5 to a delicious dinner and some sweet cards from the kids and gifts from everyone. Andrew picked up a giant package of Bunch ‘O Balloons for a future water balloon fight. Each year we have a fun giant water balloon fight and I can’t wait for this year’s battle. Allison found me a great Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Funko Pop tshirt. It was one I had seen before and considered picking up for myself. Eva picked out the Black Lion from Voltron. She knows that this is my favorite lion because of Shiro played by Josh Keaton. We also watch the show together and we are looking forward to season three of the show.
Dinner was steak and corn on the cob. Allison even used the new steak rub that I received from Netflix. Dinner was just what I wanted and we took some time to really enjoy being together. I wish that I didn’t have to go in to work tonight but at least it is Summer vacation and we can spend more time together during the week.
