I took my kayak out on the water today. While I was there I saw a beautiful heron. I didn’t have my DSLR with me but I took this with my Kodak PlaySport. I then took that photo and used the water color filter to make the photo look like it does. Being out on the water was once again peaceful, probably because I didn’t get any bites. I took Eva over to the comic book store today. She immediately found this copy of the new Strawberry Shortcake comic book. I saw it yesterday at Friendly Neighborhood Comics when I went on my little TeleNav Scavenger Hunt. I knew that she’d enjoy it but figured I’d get it at my comic book store, Wild Time Comics, instead. She was thrilled to get it too and read it the whole way home.
