Today I attended the 1st Annual Wing Fling/Benefit Michael Fernandes Foundation for Bone Marrow Research. The foundation is in memory of my friend Kim’s brother Michael. She’s organized a few events to raise money for the foundation and this one was really successful. Over $8,000 was raised, too! The event was at The Beach House in North Falmouth and it was very well attended.
