I am a huge fan of Arthurian Legend. I have read so many books on King Arthur and the knights of the round table. I’ve even thought that “What if a modern day King Arthur story was told”. I’d love to see a story where an ordinary kid from now find the sword, Excalibur and in turn rebuilds the Knights of the Round table and they battle evil. Well, I think someone was reading my mind because they have mined the King Arthur legend to create a new movie that is being released in 2019 called The Kid Who Would Be King. The movie stars Louis Ashbourne Serkis, the son of Andy Seriks famed Mo-Cap actor and full on actor in his own right. I am interested in seeing what this movie will do and if it is good will it spark the desire for my kids to want to learn more about the legend off King Arthur? If so, then I have a library of books awaiting them.
