Well, you’ve gone and done it to me. You’ve gotten my excited about the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 movie. While 50% of me is in it for Bebop and Rocksteady the other 50% is in it for Stephen Amell. I want to see what he does with the character of Casey Jones. Will he hold his own in the fight scenes with the other characters. So far from the commercials he’s not captured Casey for me. I am going to give this a chance because I know that he is a fun actor who can do amazing things. If anyone is going to elevate this Turtles franchise into something I’d be proud to recommend to friends then it is going to be Amell.
I wasn’t crazy about the new Turtles look when the first movie came out and the origin of the turtles was mangled for me. I am starting to find these guys growing on me. I think that because Bebop and Rocksteady look soo good that they make the look of these Turtles even better. It looks like it is going to be funnier than the first and lighter overall. Sure it will have action, there is great actio in the trailer, but the humor is there and I love the choices for the music that have been used in these trailers. So without me continuing to drone on here is the latest trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.
Pretty fun, right? I’ll see you at the movies on June 3rd!

As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.
