Even with a cold Allison is beautiful when she is smiling. In a rare moment of neediness from our cats (neediness rare in our cats, right!), Duncan and then Oliver took turns balancing on Allison while she balanced on a workout balance ball. There are many photos I took but this was the one that captured the moment of joy that our cats give us. That is, when they aren’t beating each other up and throwing each other against a wall.
The new bed is great, I slept right through the night and woke up really refreshed, I didn’t want to leave the bed but I slept well.
Today was my first day back to work since before the Christmas Holiday. Man, it is tough switching gears from being home to being in the office. I’ll get back into the swing of things soon. I also picked up my Photo-A-Day art pieces from the Staff Art Show.
I love the buddy movie. The road trip movie. And the movie about finding out who you are. When I was a kid I really liked the movie Big Shots. Big Shots starred a young Darius McCrary, Eddie Winslow on Family Matters, as Scam. Amazon gives the synopsis of the movie as.
Following the death of his father, suburbanite Obie runs away from home and winds up on Chicago’s South Side. After being mugged, he befriends con artist Scam. The two then embark on a Down South adventure involving gangsters, the police, and a search for Scam’s father.
I remember the two kids driving, getting scared by a tough guy gangster who said something line, “I eat bullets and S#it Ice Cream.” As a kid I loved that line, it was so tough. I remember watching the movie more than once and it was a good little movie. Unfortunately it is not on DVD at this time. But it is on VHS.
